私たちのミッション
AMAZÓNE is a general incorporated association dedicated to supporting women's mental and physical health and promoting breast cancer awareness through beautiful art photography. We aim to disseminate correct information about breast cancer, further social recognition of breast cancer, and reduce the risk of breast cancer. We support the physical and mental health of breast cancer patients and their families, and provide understanding and solutions. As our greatest mission, we also aim to raise women's self-esteem through artistic expression of women's outer and inner beauty.
私たちAMAZÓNEは美しいアートフォトを通して女性たちの心と体の健康のサポート、乳がんの啓発を促進するための一般社団法人です。乳がんに関する正しい情報の発信と、乳がんのさらなる社会的な認知、リスク軽減を目指しています。乳がん患者やその家族の心身の健康を支援し、理解と解決策の提案を行います。また、最大のミッションとして女性の外見と内面の美しさをアート表現することで女性たちの自己肯定感を高めることを目指しています。乳がん啓発活動を魅力的でポジティブな形で展開し、全ての女性たちの心と体の健康、自己肯定感の向上を目指し取り組んでいます。
Story
私たちのミッション
The Amazonesses, a tribe of brave and courageous women fighters in Greek mythology, have long been used as a synonym for strong and courageous women. Legend has it that the Amazonesses had a custom of cutting off their right breast in order to shoot their bows more accurately, which is the origin of the name Amazon. Inspired by this myth, Amazone was founded to honor and stand with breast cancer survivors.
ギリシャ神話に登場する勇猛果敢な女性の戦闘部族、アマゾネスは昔から強く勇敢な女性の代名詞として使われてきました。アマゾネスの伝説として、弓を正確に射るために右の乳房を切り落とす習慣があったとされ、それがアマゾーン(Amazon)の名前の語源となっています。この神話にインスパイアされ、乳癌サバイバーを称え共に立ち上がるための社団法人Amazoneが設立されました。

代表者メッセージ
First of all, we would like to thank all those who have cooperated and supported us in establishing this corporation. I hope that you will continue to support our efforts to share the beauty and courage of breast cancer survivors with the world.
I am now such a positive and full of life person, but few year ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I was at my wits' end, anxious about losing my breast and losing my confidence as a woman. Through my interactions with other women, I realized the importance of changing my concept of beauty, encouraging each other, and having the courage to stand up for myself. I couldn't stay and think of anyone else who might have felt as I had in the past, so I launched this positive project. Through this project, we aim to share the beauty and courage of breast cancer survivors with the world and encourage people in difficult situations. We also hope that we can give courage and hope to all people through the image of breast cancer survivors.
まず初めに、この法人を立ち上げるにあたって協力、賛同していただいた全ての方へ感謝申し上げます。そして、これからも乳癌サバイバーの美しさと勇気を世界に発信していくこの活動を応援していただけますと幸いです。
今ではこれほどまでに前向きで、溌剌とした私ですが数年前乳癌を患い、乳房を失うことへの不安や女性としての自信を失いかけ、途方に暮れておりました。そんな中、他の女性との交流を通じて美の概念を変え、共に励まし合い、立ち上がる勇気を持つことの大切さを実感したのです。もし過去の私のような思いをしている人がいたらと思うと居てもたってもいられず、この前向きなプロジェクトを立ち上げました。この活動を通じて、乳癌サバイバーの美しさと勇気を世界に伝え、困難な状況にある人々を励ましていくことを目指しています。そして、乳癌サバイバーの姿を通して全ての人に勇気と希望を与えられることを願っております。

KEIKO O. MIKLASZEWSKI
She started her modeling career in Los Angeles in 1994 and later worked as a fashion show model in Europe (mainly in London). In 2011, she received her MBA. She is still active in fashion shows and events.
1994年にロサンゼルスでモデルとしてのキャリアをスタートし、その後はヨーロッパ（主にロンドン）でファッションショーのモデルとして活躍。東京コレクションには10年連続で出演し、そごう専属のモデルとしても活動。2011年にはMBAを取得。現在もファッションショーやイベントなどで活動中。
